ATM Installation Cost Guide
What you can expect to pay (or not pay) to install a new ATM in New York — including through-wall and refurb scenarios.
Free placement: cost = $0
Under a Full-Service free placement program, installation is included at no cost to the location. The operator owns the machine, the operator pays for the install, and the operator earns from the surcharge split. Standard installs are typically 60–120 minutes on site.
Buying a new machine
If you're buying outright, installation is usually included in the purchase price when you buy through us. Standalone installation of a machine bought elsewhere is typically a flat trip fee plus any incremental work (through-wall sleeves, electrical, branding).
Most retail counter and free-standing installs are completed in under two hours. Through-wall installs are longer because of sleeve fitting, exterior facia work, and weather sealing.
Through-wall and complex installs
Through-wall installations at gas stations and standalone retail involve cutting and sleeving the exterior wall, installing the facia, and weather-sealing the assembly. Time on site is typically half a day; cost varies by wall material and any electrical work required.
Provider replacement installs
Replacing an existing provider's machine is usually a same-visit swap: pull the old unit, install the new unit, validate end-to-end transactions, and walk staff through the new front-end. Most replacements happen with no customer-visible downtime.
